De Tipi

It is special to sit in the Tipi at De Hoorneboeg – with its round shape and the fire you gather around to warm up. You enter through an opening in the tent fabric and you might be a bit surprised by the space around you that is so different – lighter and more spacious – than most expect.

The Tipi is also made comfortable with six nice chairs that you can supplement with wooden benches and meditation cushions. Colorful rugs are on the floor and if needed, we can also turn on the underfloor heating for you (surcharge 70,-). This does not heat the space, but it does make the floor feel more pleasant. To warm up the space, you use the fire bowl, which forms the center of the area. If you want to use the Tipi, we will light the fire for you and provide enough wood for several hours. The flaps at the top will then open, allowing the smoke to escape. If it rains, the opening is so minimal that you hardly notice it inside. The Tipi is therefore also very suitable for fire ceremonies.

You can make coffee or tea in the Tipi itself. The toilets are located at the Villa, which is a 3-minute walk away.

You have 6 chairs, 6 meditation cushions, and 7 wooden benches (for 14 people) at your disposal. The space is large enough for a maximum of 20 people.
