De Heizaal

In this former farmhouse (sheepfold), the large stable doors have been replaced by windows that let light stream in and offer a beautiful view of the garden and the heath, at De Hoorneboeg.

On nice days, you can open one of the doors all the way and step directly into the garden.

It’s a lovely place for yoga and meditation – the room has underfloor heating – but it’s also very pleasant if you want to use chairs (and tables) or for a presentation. We have everything you need for that. Here you will find various options for setups with chairs and tables.

For the reception of your group and the breaks, you can use the library. That’s the room where you enter, with a large table and a wood stove.

WITH THE LIBRARY AS A COSY LIVING ROOM
This is the space where you enter and can arrive with a cup of coffee or tea. It’s also a nice place during breaks or if you want to work on a task for a moment. If you only use the Heizaal and stay for several days, the library is a very nice living room. 

You can sit at two large wooden tables or on the couch by the stove. In the kitchen, you can make your own coffee and tea all day long. Toilets are further down the hall in a separate area.

On the side of the heath, there is a large terrace, and of course, you can also use the garden!

The Heizaal is often combined with the Boszaal (a separate location in the farmhouse next door), check the location 'Aan de Hei' for this. In that case, you can walk back and forth through a corridor – covered and beautifully made of glass – so that both farmhouses feel like one whole.
