Yugen Forest

Yūgen Forest is a magical outdoor place in the new nature of Flevoland. You can come here as a location for events, retreats, and training where well-being and connection with nature are paramount.

Yūgen Forest is located on the estate and test garden Roggebotstaete in Dronten. This 52ha nature area with its swaying, herb-rich grasslands and beautiful views is surrounded by forests and water. A place where guests can fully experience the connection with each other and with nature. A place of wonder, connection, and awareness. 

The Roggebotstaete estate is maintained regeneratively by us, where we aim to increase biodiversity as much as possible. In addition to our beautiful locations, you will find here among other things a bee garden, a food forest, herb garden, our permaculture vegetable garden, lots of birds, deer, bees and smaller creatures, and finally cattle and forest pigs. 

Our dream and mission is to show that it can really be different; in both our business structure and our programs and partnerships, regeneration is at the forefront. Regeneration means for us leaving the world more beautiful than we found it. Restoring, instead of conquering.
