Vesting Brewery Comenius is located in one of the oldest bastions of Naarden-Vesting, Bastion Nieuw-Molen from 1679.
The beautiful sunken outdoor area is the ideal location for any drink, dinner, party, meeting, or presentation in the summer. In the winter, the vaults at the bottom of the bastion provide shelter, warmth, and coziness. All of this right in the middle of the town and yet completely free and exclusive!
Vesting Brewery Comenius offers a unique atmosphere that you won’t find in many places.
The surroundings of our location also provide numerous possibilities for a 'break-out' session. A nice walk along the ramparts, a boat tour, archery, a bike ride, or a kick scooter trip? Everything is possible in the immediate vicinity.
The location is just a few minutes from the A1, and Amersfoort and Amsterdam are only a 15-minute drive away. There is a huge parking lot on our bastion where you can park for free.
