Welcome to the Nieuwe Kerk in The Hague

One of the most striking buildings at the Spui; right in the city center of The Hague.

This beautiful location was founded in 1656 and is one of the oldest buildings in the Hague city center and also a national monument. Due to its rich history, impressive architecture, and lovely location, the church is rightly considered one of the most beautiful places in the city.

The Nieuwe Kerk is a multifunctional location with many possibilities. Acoustically, this beautiful venue ranks among the top in Europe as a stage for classical music.

The church hall is perfectly suited for the plenary parts of your event. The space is completely column-free so nothing distracts from the focus. “Noteworthy” are the high-tech acoustic screens in the hall. These transparent eye-catchers ensure that the sound remains centralized in the church hall, without echo.

Additionally, the church hall, thanks to its enormous windows, is particularly light, allowing your guests to stay sharp and alert. Naturally, the space can be completely or partially darkened for projections, for example.

The church hall has a capacity of 450 people in theater setup.

The hall is also equipped with a modern lighting and sound system to support your event. We can of course always adjust these to your specific wishes.

This atmosphere is also very suitable for stylish dinners or walking dinners. We are happy to work with our partners to find the best way to translate your wishes into the ultimate culinary experience.

The basement is the perfect place to welcome your guests or for a drink after the meeting. This space accommodates up to 400 people and is furnished with buffets, cocktail setup with high tables and seating, and of course our cloakroom.

Due to its location in the center, we also have ideal connections with public transport. The Hague Central is just 800 meters away. Various bus and tram connections stop right outside the door.
