At Markant Theater Maashorst, we have established specific cancellation policies designed to protect the interests of both our clients and the theater itself. In the event of non-compliance with the deposit payment, Markant Maashorst reserves the right to declare the agreement null and void and charge any incurred costs. Cancellation fees are as follows: - Up to 3 months before the event: 20% of the reservation value. - Between 3 and 1 month before the event: 25% of the reservation value. - Between 4 and 3 weeks before the event: 50% of the reservation value. - Between 3 and 2 weeks before the event: 75% of the reservation value. - Less than 2 weeks before the event: 95% of the reservation value. If an event is rescheduled to another date within 12 months between 3 and 2 weeks prior to the original date, the client will pay 40% of the total amount instead of the previously established 75% to 100% in case of full cancellation. In case of eventual cancellation, the above-mentioned percentages apply. Markant Maashorst reserves the right to unilaterally terminate an already concluded rental agreement if it is found that the client has provided incorrect information regarding the organization of the event. In such a case, the client is not entitled to compensation. The theater reserves the right to unilaterally cancel an event at any time. This cancellation will be communicated as soon as possible, but may occur on the day of execution if necessary. In case of clear force majeure, an event may be suspended, modified, rescheduled, or canceled. The client and Markant Maashorst will then discuss the next steps together. In case of suspension, modification, or rescheduling of an event due to force majeure, Markant Maashorst is not obliged to pay any compensation. The client must provide the exact number of attendees to Markant Maashorst no later than 7 days before the event.
