Between Amsterdam and Utrecht lies the historic estate Hotel Flora Batava.  Flora Batava is a boutique hotel by the river Vecht. 

The beautiful and quiet location provides the right environment for meetings, brainstorming sessions, training, or gatherings. If you want to celebrate your birthday or family party in a unique way, we are happy to assist you. Flora Batava has two meeting rooms and a tea house by the water. All meeting rooms are very quietly located and have natural light.

Hotel Flora Batava makes your event unique and special by organizing it together with you. We think along with you and take care of everything down to the last detail. Of course, we will make choices for lunch, dinner, and snacks during your stay in consultation with you. The music and decoration are also in good hands with us. We ensure that you lack nothing during your event. 

The estate de Vijverhof is over 350 years old and has recently been restored and renovated. The founder of the estate, Agnes Block, cultivated rare and exotic plants and flowers. She was nicknamed “Flora Batava”. This botanical history is an important source of inspiration and can be seen in the garden and the decor of our hotel.

Spread over three buildings, the hotel has 45 hotel rooms. In the national monument historical villa is restaurant Bloei. The high ceilings, the intimate room-and-suite, and the large glass conservatory create a cozy, informal, and contemporary atmosphere.

In the kitchen of Bloei, we like to work with carefully selected regional and seasonal ingredients. Our menu is composed with a passion for the flavors and versatility of Dutch products. The team aims to surprise you with dishes characterized by stylish simplicity, elegance, and pure flavors.

The surroundings of the hotel invite exploration. The Vecht region is rich in estates, castles, forts, and windmills. From our hotel, you can partake in numerous activities including a boat trip on the Vecht in an open boat or a salon boat, cycling on electric bikes, stand-up paddleboarding on the Vecht, or boot camp activities. We are happy to assist you in putting together an ideal program for your event.
