EKWC

Welcome to the European Ceramic Workcentre (EKWC). EKWC is an international artist-in-residence and research centre for ceramics. For over 50 years, artists, designers, and architects from all over the world have been welcomed here to experiment with clay. This results in both remarkable artworks and technical innovations. The results can be seen in museums from New York to Tokyo.

We have a beautiful inspiring space for rent for meetings, retreats, pop-ups, sample sales, and other events. You can also join us for tours of our ceramics workshop or, for example, a team-building workshop with clay. We are located in the former dyeing and tanning factory of the national monument the Royal United Leather Factory KVL in Oisterwijk. A historic and atmospheric place where making is central.
