About
History
The nave of the Great Church of Veere breathes 500 years of history. Construction began in 1435, a time when Veere flourished through trade and the influence of Henry II of Borssele, lord of Veere. The impressive dimensions make the space unique in the area.
Cultural Venue
Today, the nave is the heart of the Cultural Venue of the Great Church, where national and international artists perform annually. When there is no program, this imposing space offers the perfect setting for a wide range of events.
Atmosphere
The high windows provide beautiful light during the day, the so-called ‘Zeeland light’, while in the evenings, professional lighting can create a cozy atmosphere.
Major Event
The nave can be flexibly arranged for various events, from TED talks and lectures to dinners and receptions. The space can be set up in different configurations, including grandstands and stages. Additionally, there is the option to rent the side aisles with intimate niches, allowing you to create different corners for smaller groups.
With modern technology and extensive catering options, a unique setting can be created in the nave that will surely surprise your guests.
