De Ambachterij

"De Ambachterij" owes its name to the former functions that this "barn" had. Gasterij de Kwakel used to be a farmhouse, a so-called long facade farmhouse for arable farming, and this barn served as a storage space for grain until 1974. Later, after the original function of the farmhouse ended, this barn served as a storage space and was rented out to various craftsmen to practice their profession.

When you enter "De Ambachterij," it breathes nostalgia. The old beams tell you the story of the past, and the artisanal tools on the wall are a subtle reference to the past, when all woodworking was still done by hand. Even the floor you walk on is paved with authentic bricks to emphasize the real farmhouse atmosphere.

This multifunctional hall is suitable for parties and events for up to 150 people, but can also be adjusted to create a cozy atmosphere for smaller groups as desired.
