About
Bleriot is a well-known aircraft that dates back to the early days of aviation. It is named after Louis Blériot, a French aviation pioneer. Most famous is the Blériot XI, a single-engine monoplane that made history in 1909 when Blériot became the first person to fly it across the English Channel. The Bleriot room at Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Wings-Rotterdam may be named after this historic aircraft and serves as a tribute to the pioneering spirit and advancement of aviation.
