Artiesten Foyer
About
We love to pamper our artists. It starts with a nice space where they feel welcome and can relax. This foyer can be used as a small break-out room, for roundtable discussions, or simply as an organization office. Nice and luxurious!
The dressing rooms behind the Artists' Foyer can be used for speakers or entertainment as well as for small subsessions for your event.
- Up to about 70 guests are welcome here
- Foyer suitable for break-outs, separate receptions, or a roundtable discussion
- Often used as an organization office
- Adjacent to the back house of the PHIL
Behind the scenes
Only artists and crew working on a performance are welcome in the Artists' Foyer. But if there are no performances, or if you have rented the entire venue, take the unique opportunity to make this foyer part of your event.
Beautiful work that touches you
On the wall in the Artists' Foyer hang stunning portraits of Lucas&Arthur Jussen, Bart Schneemann, Alain Clark, Liza Ferschtman, Wende Snijders, and Lavinia Meijer. They have been photographed by Rahi Rezvani, an artist born in Tehran who fled Iran and has had a studio in Haarlem for years. We predict: once you see the artworks, you will want to know more about this special photographer.
Close to the dressing rooms
The Artists' Foyer is located on the 1st floor in the back house, close to the dressing rooms. Directly behind the foyer are two group dressing rooms, and one floor up you will find the 3rd group dressing room, the conductor's dressing room, and 4 soloist dressing rooms. Photos of these dressing rooms can be found in the carousel below.
